This index represents the number of electricity interruptions experienced a customer in a year on average It is calculated as the sum of customers affected by each interruption during a year divided by the total number of customers. This includes the cities/urban areas (Abu Dhabi and Al Ain cities) and all the semi-rural and rural areas in Al Ain, Eastern region of Abu Dhabi and the Western region including Al Dhafrah.
